Oh, dear lord no. I walked in around 1:00 pm on a Thursday because I saw the Sushi board in the window. After waiting in line behind 2 other patrons, I overheard the woman in front of me expressing some disappointment only to find out what she was upset about was the fact that they "..didn't have sushi today..." . Um. OK that's pretty strange with all the sushi offerings on posters and menu boards around the store to only offer sushi sometimes. I figured I would try a teriyaki bowl instead. I ordered the chicken bowl with rice and selected a few veggies. you get 3 and pay per veggie after that. You pick out the ingredients you want from the counter, and they put it in the bowl to give to the kitchen. Not many of the offerings they had were all that appealing. The pea pods and mushrooms were pretty rough looking, and the broccoli was kind of pale, to name a few. I sat and waited until my name was called and retrieved my bowl from the counter. As soon as I started eating, I noticed the veggies were still cold...like refrigerated, not just "not hot". Then I took a bite of chicken, and it was still raw inside. Oh so incredibly gross. I took it up to the counter and the manager (I assume) was very eager to take it and finish cooking it. I told him no, i was not interested in giving them another try and that a lot is forgivable but not raw chicken. I got my refund and left. Side note, as I was walking home i spotted the person that was in front of me at Vera Asian eating at another spot and let he know she probably dodged a stomach ache.
