Having seen Antivouniotissa Museum, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. According to the visitors' comments, Greek and Mediterranean dishes here are quite nice. Good grilled octopus, sea bass and seafood spaghetti are the best dishes. Here you will be able to taste perfectly cooked gelato, parfait and yogurt. This place is known for delicious house wine, cordial or beer. Most likely, you'll come back to Veranda later to degust great espresso, iced coffee or frappes.

There is a beautiful view from this place. The hospitable staff welcomes guests all year round. This spot is remarkable for its professional service. Prices here are reported to be low. The food is fine but this place neither warm not welcoming. We were there and ordered some starters and told them we’ll order the main, the seafood platter (most expensive item on the menue in a few minutes) and then we had a game of cards. They scolded us and told us we’re not allowed to play cards in their restaurant. The place was nearLy empty at that point. So we left without ordering the main course to ear at the amazing family owned place next door. It was a very weird experience at the “Veranda”. I don’t recommend to go there as a happy couple who plays cards in between corses or as a family with kids ;). Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner

Definitely recommend this place. Very nice service, it was a busy evening and the guy made an effort to find us a place. We eat plant-based/ vegan so we read the menu beforehand but the waitress was able to also tell us further options on what could be veganised. We asked for chickpea salad (they took out the cheese component) and it was still delicious. A must try is the smoked aubergine/eggplant spread - it’s not on the photo because we basically inhaled it, it was that good!!! It had this really nice smoky taste, very nice. We also ordered other sides which were good - only horta was “meh”. Basically grass. But maybe with more salt and pepper it would be good, too. Mushrooms are great, the taste was almost “meaty”.
