It’s frustrating that somewhere so nice to go is choked up by poor front-of-house management. Our food was excellent across the board - clearly the kitchen team put a lot of thought and effort into their dishes. Their hummus is perfect, their pastas are tasty and filling, and their desserts were beautiful (Go for the Piccolo dolci - life is too short not to!) The problem is that it’s such a struggle to order anything. There were at least seven members of staff working out front on the evening we went - at one point, three of them were doing TikTok dances by the kitchens while the guy I presume is the manger was having a lengthy chat with another employee at the til with his back to the restaurant. Somebody desperately needs to install a work ethic in these people - customers shouldn’t have to go looking for somebody to take their order. So, nice food, lovely setting, crap service. Visited Veranda for lunch around 14:10 and ordered the linguine alla vongole. When I came back from the restroom, my food was already on the table. It looked great at first, but unfortunately the spoon had been left dipped in the sauce. I pointed it out to the waiter, and they said they would replace it. However, when the new spoon arrived, it still had visible stains—as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned. There was no apology or acknowledgment either. I understand small mistakes happen, but experiencing the same issue twice, especially with basic hygiene, was disappointing. Food presentation was nice, also proportion was little bit small but its overpriced (50.000₮) Attention to cleanliness and service needs improvement.
