C'est une des forces du Verdi de Berne : savoir créer les conditions parfaites, à travers un cadre convivial et un service attentionné, pour vous transporter le temps d'un repas en Italie. Et bien sûr à travers une cuisine authentique et raffinée, qui fait valoir les richesses de l’Émilie-Romagne et l'étendue de son patrimoine gastronomique ! C'est fin, bon, maîtrisé, toujours soigneusement présenté ; la sélection de vins est exquise ; et les desserts ne sont évidemment pas en reste. Alors, comment ne pas se laisser tenter par un excellent tiramisu, qui vient à lui seul illustrer tout ce que nous disons ? Vous l'avez constaté : l'art de la table, ici, c'est du sérieux. Verdi's is your safest bet for a perfect night in Bern. It is not just the outstanding Italian food (pasta to die for) and the finest wines. It really is for the staff, with their impeccable service and great advises on food/wine pairing etc. And with the lovely Eva as the biggest gem of all. Mille grazie, alla prossima! We visited Ristorante Verdi during our Switzerland family trip and it instantly became one of the highlights of our entire journey. From the moment we walked through the door, the warmth and hospitality were unlike anything we have experienced in a long time. The owner is truly exceptional, caring, present, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest feels special. You can feel the passion and pride that goes into running this restaurant, and it shows in every detail of the experience. The staff are wonderfully friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive. Service was impeccable from start to finish and genuinely heartfelt. They made our whole family feel completely at home. The food itself was outstanding, a true authentic Italian flavors executed with real skill and the finest ingredients. Every dish we ordered was a delight. If you are visiting Bern, Ristorante Verdi is an absolute MUST. This is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why dining out is such a special experience.
