If you’ve ever driven or walked past Verdo, you’ll know how good it smells. We followed our noses yesterday and had the most delicious and fresh barbecued meal. Crazy value for money given how fresh everything was and you can see it cooked right in front of you. Everything was delicious. We got so much food in the Chef’s Special. Verdo Turkish BBQ in Edinburgh is honestly one of the best restaurants I have been to. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish, full of flavour, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The Turkish kebab was amazing, juicy, tender, and packed with beautiful BBQ taste. You can tell straight away that the food is made with care and good quality ingredients. The rice was lovely, the salad was fresh and tasty, and the fried onions and mushrooms made everything even better. The fresh bread was perfect as well, warm and soft, exactly how it should be with Turkish food. Everything came together beautifully and made the whole experience feel special. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, very welcoming and comfortable. After the meal, the Turkish tea and baklava were the perfect finish. The tea was lovely and the baklava was sweet, fresh, and delicious. I strongly recommend Verdo Turkish BBQ to everyone. If you are in Edinburgh and you want amazing Turkish food, great taste, fresh ingredients, and a lovely place to eat, this is definitely the place to go.
