While visiting a friend in Rochester, she took me to her favorite place, Vern’s! I immediately knew why it’s a favorite. We were quoted a wait of 45-50 minutes and were seated in half the time. The hostesses were very friendly. Our server, Christine, a literal angel on earth. So attentive and truly cared about making the dining experience pleasurable and offered recommendations that didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing, not a single complaint and the tiramisu knocked the socks off from any other in existence. Will definitely be returning! The apps, pasta, and pizza were perfect. Except the meats. Everytime we get a steak is it undercooked from what we specified and the flavor is not there. If you want a good steak or piece of meat, this is not the place. We ordered the lamb special and it was cooked almost raw. We waited almost an hour for it just to send it back to the kitchen. If you are randomly going to close on a Tuesday, at least put it on the website. Never trying to come here again because theres no way to tell if they are actually open during their operating hours. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
