Verona Devonport, a fine dining establishment in the heart of Devonport, offers delectable Italian cuisine in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The interior design is warm and welcoming, with a wood fire pizza oven as the centerpiece of the restaurant. Prices are reasonable, with dishes ranging from $20 to $50. Very disappointing experience at Verona Devonport!! Shift manager was incredibly rude and condescending to myself and company as we questioned why we were charged $9 for table water. The same lady served us at our table and never mentioned that the water for the table was going to be added to our bill. At the service desk she threw her arms around stating that we ordered the water so what do we expect. It was very embarrassing for her and the young lady working along side her as the few other customers in the building started to watch. This woman refused to reimburse us for the water we weren’t aware we would be charged for and only drank a few sips of each due to the dirty glasses we were given. Poor behaviour but made it clear to myself and company that we don’t ever need to visit again. :( Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Dear Kalandra, We value all our customer and them satisfaction. So let me tell you first that …Dear Kalandra, We value all our customer and them satisfaction. So let me tell you first that no one has ever been rude to you. As our standard of service require, you have been offered (from me personally, by the way) what water you preferred for your table within a choice of Sparkling, Still or Tap water. You have ordered Still water and we served you with that. On your way out, the young lady at the counter needed my assistance because of the confusion created with your bill. As never happened before that someone refused to pay for a bottle of water she obviously was unsure of what to do. No arms has been thrown around and no attention has been captured by others. Actually I personally apologized with you for any inconvenience on my arrival at the counter. So let me tell you, Yes, It was very embarrassing for me have to explain you that the 1lt bottle labeled Santa Vittoria Still water you have ordered wasn’t for free. And no, you haven’t been refunded as there was no mistakes from our team. Let’s now talk about the glasses. I am very sure that whoever would notice a dirty glass on the table certainly would not drink on it but ask to the staff to replace it. I will be pleased to discuss with you further the truthfulness of your words as this hasn’t happened while you were dining, but you’re now complaining. Dorothy Olivieri Restaurant Manager More
