We were warmly welcomed by a very kind lady. Although there weren’t many seats, if you time your visit well you can relax while enjoying the view of Himeji Castle. I ordered the set with matcha castella, matcha ice cream, and hojicha, and unlike the typical tourist prices in Japan, the value for money was truly excellent. What surprised me most was how good the hojicha tasted — so much so that I even bought a bag of packaged hojicha leaves to take back to Korea, and the price was very reasonable. Overall, the value was outstanding, the view and atmosphere were pleasant, and the owner was extremely kind. The only downsides were that foreign languages weren’t possible and payment was cash only. Everything else was great, and if I return to Himeji Castle, I will definitely come back here.

Green, green, green! Hence the name Vert. A lovely local ice cream shop with all things created with green tea/macha. I Hà a set which included green tea soft ice cream with beans, three yummy cookies, Al different and a cup of piping hot roasted green tea. Excellent! And I had a nice view of the castle.

In front of a cherry tree there's this lovely green tea and ice cream shop. Everything is treated with delicacy and detail. The matcha ice cream and the tea were delicious, great quality. The owner is charming. From the second floor there's a wonderful view of the Himeji castle framed by cherry trees. A place where to gather good memories. Thanks to the owner for her kindness!
