I visit the downtown Portillos every time we come to Chicago. It is a very hectic restaurant so I recommend knowing the menu before you walk in the door. All the food is very good and the cake shake is a must for me. Be sure you get your whole order from the pick up counter. They have a lot going on and forgot to give my dad his drinks. Staff is so nice and patient with customers.

since the rooftop closes at midnight don't make the mistake of going to the restroom at 11.30pm, they don't let you back in even though your entire group of friends or purse stayed at outside!!

I had visited this place Vertigo Sky Lounge
2 West Erie Street, Chicago, Illinois with office collegues after work.
I must say this is oneof the best skylounge I had experience. This place is approx 26 floors above the ground level and perfectly placed in the downtown...view from the skylounge is breathraking...atmosphere was great and service and crowd was outstanding...
We ordered local chicago limited efition beer Lagunitas...and it was really a great beer..and the starters were realky great and fresh...
Crowd is really very friendly and we enjoyed best evening in Chicago.

One must visit this place if they visit Chicago...
