British cuisine under the direction of the talented chef is great here. You can share tasty haddock, lamb steaks and жареный барашек with your friends and have a nice time here. At this restaurant, visitors can order good pancakes, apple pie and yorkshire pudding. This place is known for delicious draft beer, ale or wine. Enjoy great coffee or good tea.

The Victoria Inn is only a few miles from where we live and it's the place we would normally choose for a meal out. We've never stayed there but, if the accommodation is as good as the food, it must be really good. There is a wide variety of choice on the restaurant menu and the prices are reasonable - many under £20, usually only steaks are a little bit more. They do have themed food evenings so, if you want to try a steak for less than £20, try Friday Night Steak Night. We last visited on a Friday at the beginning of September but not for the steak. My favourite dish is the steak and kidney pie, where the filling is top quality and probably twice the amount you'd get in many other places. Also, there are more fresh vegetables than the usual unimaginative "peas with everything". My wife had salmon which was excellent (she often has the fish pancakes which are just as good but felt she ought not get stuck in a rut!). There's a good selection of reasonably priced beers, cider and wines. They also offer cooked breakfast on Saturday mornings. We haven't tried it yet but it's on the wishlist.

Beautiful location in the heart of the Vale. Warm and welcoming staff, Michael and Beryl and all the team always make time for a chat. Excellent assortment of drinks. Beautiful food, honest dishes that are hard to find these days. Hearty portions of real soul food, unfussy classics mixed with special feelings treats. Good selection of GLUTEN FREE options. An absolute gem, traditional Welsh hospitality. Large carpark and outdoor seating for enjoying the fine weather too.
