I’m hoping we caught them on a bad day, because if this was the usual Sunday service they should consider not offering food. We were told it would be a 40 minute wait. We had 2 tables in our group, placing 2 orders at the same time. One table took 1 hour 25 minutes, the other nearly 2 hours. When chasing up the order, we were pretty much told the kitchen is really busy and that’s just how it is. After about an hour, they told me I couldn’t have the burger I ordered & had to choose something else, then my brother in law was told he couldn’t have the roast turkey he ordered as they ran out. When our meal finally came after nearly 2 hours, the Mac & Cheese wasn’t cooked through & the egg on my gammon was mostly raw. Generally the food was poor. They did refund my gammon, but I would not visit that pub again & probably would not bother with Green King pubs if this is the standard offer. There are many other choices out there! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Dietary restrictions: The gluten free options are limited.

Really lovely atmosphere with good food and friendly happy staff who created a homely feel to the place. Would definitely recommend The Victory Inn for quiet drinks or a bite to eat. Five Stars all round! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

Went in the pub last night the bar staff was awful talking to each other tried to get drinks and to wait the staff didn't look round to c if anybody needed serving we had to go up to them we come Suffolk and was meeting friends in there otherwise we would have left the food was nice
