Extremely disappointed by the payment policy at this establishment. During my visit on a Saturday, they refused to accept anything other than Swish. For international visitors—including the many Norwegians who frequent Hemavan—this is effectively a "No Entry" sign. Swish requires a Swedish bank account and a Swedish personal identity number, making it impossible for tourists to pay for food or drinks. While every other business in the ski resort accepted Visa and Mastercard, this place had a practice that is actively exclusionary and discriminatory towards non-Swedes. It is incredibly arrogant to operate in a major tourist destination while refusing to accept international payment standards. If you don't have a Swedish bank account, don't bother coming here on saturdays. Your business is clearly not wanted here on saturdays as of February 2026.
