Estimated arrival 35 minutes. Actual arrival 1.5 hours. Rang twice. 1st time told order had left restaurant and being delivered. 2nd call told it was delivered…. When I told them it definitely hadn’t been delivered the story changed to the food would be ready to be delivered in 10 minutes and delivered thereafter. This was 50 minutes after the order was placed. Too many lies to know what was the truth. In hindsight, I could have gone to woolies bought a steak, gone home, cooked and eaten the meal all before Villa Oliva completed my order. Next time I’ll remember it isn’t worth giving myself a night off from cooking!

10 Jan 23. I ordered pizzas at 5:05 pm for delivery. I was told the order would be delivered between 40-60 mins. The order was delivered 90 mins later. The pizzas were delivered but the order was wrong. Two pizzas were ordered without cheese due to food allergies. When I ordered the pizzas, the person who took my order read my order back to me to confirm.

I rang the restaurant to tell them the pizzas had cheese. Replacement pizzas were made and delivered 70 mins later. I checked the pizzas before the delivery driver left and the replacement pizzas were wrong-they both had cheese. I returned the pizzas to the restaurant as well as ringing the restaurant to let them know the pizzas were wrong.

I explained after 3 hrs from my initial order, we still didn’t receive the correct pizza order.

When I spoke to the restaurant I requested a refund of the two pizzas. The person said he would speak to the head chef, this was 3.5 hrs after my initial order and I’m still waiting for a phone call.

My suggestion is, if you want pizzas that are delicious and are made right the first time try Romanos Pizza!!

My partner and I have had takeaway from Villa Olivo many times, and the food never disappoints. Definitely recommend the Ravioli and Chicken and Mushroom Risotto.The Panna Cotta is also very yummy!
