First visit to Laos and while strolling down to the river from the Crowne Plaza came across this gem of a restaurant. The colonial building set in a lush garden stands out from the other buildings. Inside is a labour of love with meticulous detail to create an artistic and welcoming experience. The food is exceptional and the wine adorable. But the real highlight is Pino who made us so welcome and regaled us with wonderful stories of the creation of the Villa Opera restaurant. A must visit. We will return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
