Food monitoring was checked and deficiencies were found. Information about Villa Schmidt! Several pieces of equipment and supplies that came into direct contact with food were dirty or dirty. The food injector and the meat hammer were dirty, especially on the food contact surfaces. The deep fryers were significantly dirty. The frying baskets as well as the fat pans were covered in caked-on, crusty food residues. The slicer was very dirty, especially on the food-carrying parts. The contamination revealed a significant cleaning backlog. The coffee machine unit was also dirty, especially on the food-carrying parts such as the outlet nozzles. The dosing dispensers, pump dispensers and dressing bags for whipped cream, ketchup, fruit sauces and mayo, for example, were dirty with dried food residue on the food contact surfaces. The stop machines in the kitchen area at the patisserie and tarte flambée station were very dirty. When using these machines, there is a risk that the vibrations could cause dried-on old dirt to come off and fall onto the food being processed. The ice maker was dirty inside right above the ice cubes. There is a risk that this dirt and germs will drip down onto the ice cubes via the existing condensation and have a detrimental effect on them. This ice cream is used directly in cocktails, among other things. Cleaning products were stored in various places in the company in close proximity to partially open food. There is a risk that these foods can be adversely affected by chemical substances from the cleaning agents.

Total disappointment for this place which still claims to be La Villa Schmidt in their speech, but which only kept the name. Their Sunday brunch: a tiny buffet consisting of a platter of turkey charcuterie and a second of industrial fish mousse, a few cheeses of dubious color, and salads that look like they date from the start of the week. Sweet side of the industrial also with some mini pastries, dry pancakes and all dishes, two juices (industrial too). Most shocking = 2 kinds of cereal just out of the packet. To complete this "brunch" two hot dishes....only fish, and side dishes bathed in oil. What a loss for the regulars of this place which was truly exceptional before the change of ownership. When we don't keep anything from the old version, it would be good to change the name 100%, especially on the web to avoid misleading the regulars, because this place in my opinion does not even deserve a star for the price paid (may to be a half for the sympathy of the waiters). We will never set foot there again.
