Really not a fan of this place. Tried to go here on a Tuesday,(they are always closed mondays), and they were closed. I went on Wednesday and they were open. The inside of the place is kinda depressing, the food case was almost empty. They only had prices on half the menu. The lady behind the counter acts and looks like she just ran a marathon and can't be bothered. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese. The bacon was bad, really bad very cheap quality. The biggest sign that this place is bad is that they open at 9am. What place that serves breakfast opens up at 9am? A really bad one.

Not crazy about this place. The cook does a good job, sandwiches are on point. The lady behind the counter is not very welcoming or friendly. I manage the front end of a sandwich shop myself so i know bad days happen. I tried asking how her day was going with little to no response. Thats enough for me not to go back.

I work in Niantic and numerous times throughout the month, my co-workers and I order lunch. I really like the honey mustard chicken wrap, but the staff at Village Bake House makes it so that we don't even want to bother. It's like some huge inconvenience that there are 4 people ordering, 1 person picks up, and pays each order separately--not sure how that's much different than if all 4 came in together, but it seems to be a reason to be treated like crap here. On top of it, you can barely get more than the total out of the cashier. For a while, I would push ordering here, volunteering to pick up myself since everyone in my office flat out refuses, but even I've given up. I work in customer service and pride myself on my friendliness--how are you? Plans for the weekend? Etc....I wouldn't have a job if I treated my customers the way the staff here does! So sorry that our patronage is a problem. We can go elsewhere...and we do.
