When they first opened, I was thrilled, the salad bar was amazing and reasonably priced, the soups were always delicious and hot, everything has gone downhill in the last year and a half. All items are priced $2, $3 and $4 higher than other local grocery stores. The soups are disgusting and the soup bar itself is always filthy with food everywhere. The salad bar is severely lacking refills and the toppings seem like they’ve been there for a while. I stopped by to give it one more try last Wednesday, yet again the soup bar was disgusting with food everywhere like it had just been rampage and there’s no one there to clean it up. I took the lid off of the first soup, which was supposed to be clam chowder, it looked spoiled. It was lumpy full of oil and absolutely disgusting. I said everything down and swore I’d never walk into that grocery store yet. Don’t bother going over to the prepared food section either because if you grab a sandwich, you will take a bite and see that it has been there for at least a few days and is wet and soggy. But at least you paid eight dollars for it! The staff is incredibly unpleasant, it’s located in a convenient place and that’s probably the only reason they’re busy at all. They seriously need an upgrade in management and employee employees overall.

The Village Market is amazing! They have so many yummy and organic foods for sale. The down side is the customer service is non existant. It seems that most of the up front staff would rather be doing something else. I did not feel appreciate or even seen. It was very sad.
