Very disappointing experience. The food was very mediocre, and the service was poor from start to finish. Be aware that they automatically add the gratuity to your bill, which may explain why the servers don’t seem to make much effort to provide good service. The cleanliness was also unacceptable. The menus were sticky with syrup, the waiter brought us dirty or previously used napkins, and even the straws were wet when they arrived at the table. Overall, the restaurant felt dirty and unsanitary. Unfortunately, I would not recommend dining here. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Let's start with the fact the restaurant was empty and they couldn't get our order correct. Second the sausage links they gave my daughter where still raw. Will jot be coming back to this location. Terrible and horrible idea to stop for food. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

My cousin and I arrived at Village Inn on Sunday night between 845 pm and 9 pm. We were told about a pot pie that wasn't on the menu and given water. We were also told that there is an 18% gratuity added automatically to our bill. Not a problem.When the waitress took our order we were told they had no grits because they closed at 10 pm. When asked about the pot pie, we were told they had already put them in the freezer because they close at 10 pm. A couple tried to come in at around 930 and they had already locked the doors. If you're open until 10 pm then the food should be available until 10 pm. They may as well have closed up at 9 because they couldn't fix us what we wanted off of the menu. I won't be back there. We were made to feel like we were an inconvenience. The waitress kept reiterating that they close at 10 pm and it wasn't even 9 pm yet. Bad business... Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
