This has happened three times now in a row. Made reservation at 5 pm. Arrived and had to wait for 30 min.(sometimes to be expected) Then ordered drinks and meal. Meal took over an hour and had to wave down server to see where meal was. Meal arrived and the meal was room temperature and the gravy and mushrooms were cold. Schnitzel looked and tasted like a store purchase, frozen and reheated a few times. As of last night I have decided not to go there anymore. after three times and the meal was bad it does not pay to return. When I first started going there 5 years ago and now the last year something changed and not for the good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

had a 5 pm reservation on Sun, and we were seated quickly. we ordered a full meal with apps. At 6:15 we were handed our bill and waitress told us her next seating was waiting. 1 1/4 hrs is not excessively long for dinner. comment affected her tip Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

MY FRIENDS WERE HERE TUESDAY AND LOVED THE IT . I JUST C AS ME IN FROM PENNSYLVANIA FOR THE WEEKEND. MY FRIEND SAID I HAVE TO TRY IT. I CANT STOP BRAGGING ABOUT THIS PLACE. THE SERVICE WAS AWSOME THE FOOD WAS OUY OF THIS WORLD. THE BEST GERMAN FOOD I HAVE HAD IN YEARS . ON A SCALE OF 1 TO 10 . I GIVE THE VILLAGE LANTERNE A 20 PLUS .
