You talk about signs/omens, we walked into Vine Restaurant for the first time and a Beatles song was playing and it was even one by my favorite Beatle, George Harrison. This experience is starting off well. The restaurant wasn't crowded so we chose a table and ordered a Pino Grigio and a Margarita. When it was time for our second round we also ordered the Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower. My wife and I each enjoyed it, first bite you could taste both the Buffalo dressing and the Blue Cheese dressing yet neither were overpowering. Tasty...tasty but small. We shared this dish and I suppose that's more our fault than theirs, it was probably meant as a single serving for a single diner. For dinner my wife went for the Lock Duarte Scottish Salmon which she enjoyed thoroughly, she likes it medium and it was done to perfection. My selection was the Vine Burger to which I added cheddar cheese. I asked for it rare and it pretty much was, when I make a burger they are rarer but it was nothing to complain about. Liked the fries too. And we were full so we didn't try desert or coffee, we'll save that for next time because there surely will be a next time. Oh, and the signs I was speaking about concerning the music that was playing when we entered, well as we were leaving a solo Paul McCartney song came on, George and Paul's music were the perfect bookends to an excellent meal.
