Located in the really cute English Village. The outdoor dining area is really cute - small tables under a tree in a very cute courtyard. There's also an outdoor bar area.  The service was great. As I said the tables are small, there's not much room for plates. That wasn't an issue because the staff was very attentive. Promptly after we finished our appetizers, those plates were removed. Now to the food! The fresh fried okra was great! The cheese plate was good. It's hard to mess that up. The bang bang cauliflower was great! My entree was the vegetarian medallions made with artichokes. It was so tasty and the proportion was perfect. I also enjoyed the Cahaba Blackberry! This was a really good dining experience.

Nestled in the quaint English Village area of Mountainbrook (Birmingham,) the restaurant sits on a corner with a great view of a cute neighborhood. Our experience was outside in the courtyard, so I can't speak much of the interior. They appear to have a couple of indoor wine bars with an array of fine art.The menu features an impressive wine selection (and coctails.)We enjoyed a fantastic dinner. My wife had the Wild Salmon Kbob and i went with the fish of the night - Swordfish! Our meals were prompt, hot, and scrumptious! Will definitely return!

I went to Vino for the first time and it did not disappoint. I chose to dine in. The atmosphere was amazing and it was something that I had never experienced before. This restaurant basically combines an art gallery experience with food. This restaurant is excellent in maintaining COVID-19 guidelines as tables were spaced off well over 6 feet and all utensils individually packaged. The tables were also covered with elegant paper that is removable and changeable after each guest. The employees wore masks consistently and the overall service was great. The food came out in a timely manner and our server was always checking up and making sure all our needs were met. It also happened that we were seated outside which I was honestly worried about at first. But, they had plenty of heaters (which did not take away from the ambience but actually added to it) that kept us warm throughout the night. I ordered the brownie kahlua trifle and I also shared the vino apple fritters a la mode with my friend. They were both so delicious and I would definitely go back for the desserts. I would say that the desserts were worth the price based off of the portions and how they tasted (about $10 each). The overall experience was amazing. It was the combination of the general ambience, the great service, and delicious food that has really convinced me to go back. In terms of sustainability, I think the only issue that caught my eye was the use of plastic to seal utensils. Other than that, I would say I had a great experience and I am looking forward to returning!
