We went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening as a couple without a reservation. It looked pretty full, but we still managed to get a seat. A bit remote at the top, but it was very suitable for us. The employee first set the table nicely for us and took the drinks. There is no menu here. At the front of the entrance there is a large table with some dishes. We chose the tagliatelle with shrimp and the pasta with salmon. Upon request, we got the salmon pasta with penne instead of tagliatelle. However, it took a long time for the food to be prepared. You can basically watch the chef because it's an open kitchen, which was nice. The taste of both dishes was okay, but in our opinion there were still some spices missing. However, they didn't skimp on the ingredients, which surprised me quite positively. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The ambience and furnishings were also great. Northeim made a good catch there. A nice restaurant with an open kitchen. Everyone on the team is incredibly nice and even jokes with you. About the food: at the beginning I was afraid that the slightly higher prices for a place like Northeim would be too much. But my linguine with truffles that were really freshly shaved onto the plate at the table was more than top class. All the other dishes I was able to try were also large and incredibly tasty dishes. I come from Berlin and I have to say that I haven't found a place that can compete with Vino Veritas yet. We will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
