Named for the 27 year old widow Clicquot, who in 1814, daringly earned her reputation as "the first business woman of the modern era," by secretly sending an entire shipment of Champagne into Russia against Napoléon's blockades. This wine has a bouquet of apples and citrus mingled with baked bread and finishes with a taste of pralines and mild spices. 95 points Wine Spectator
