This place is my go-to for breakfast chilaquiles. Seriously, you absolutely have to try them with an over-easy egg. It just makes everything so much better. It's the perfect way to start the day. I highly recommend it!

Vinarosa impeccably maintains both the grounds and rooms, and the service is top notch. Andrea checked us in and immediately made us feel welcome, and thoughtful touches like EV charging and text check ins made the whole stay feel effortless. Our suite was recently updated, super clean, and opened onto the grounds with a patio with a beautiful view of the grounds. The on site restaurant was exceptional. John Ash should be a destination in its own right. If you’re staying here, skipping the on site restaurant is a mistake. Overall a lovely getaway from the Bay Area - somehow feels like you’ve escaped to another country. We’re already talking about coming back. Service: 5

I had very high hopes for this place given it looked amazing online and the cost seemed to be justified given the location and services. I'll start out by saying when we first checked in the front desk person was amazing and he was extremely welcoming. Also the room was nice (very dark and no sunlight) but nice. However, when we had an issue arise, the 2 women running the front desk on Saturday morning and housekeeping ruined the experience for us. On our second day my boyfriend and I decided to spend the entire day at the pool and during that time housekeeping had come by. We know this because when we returned to our room all the towels had been replaced and we had a new robe hanging in the bathroom. What we also noticed was the glass cup I had my Invisalign in was gone. When I called the front desk to ask what had happened with the glass cup and if my invalsign retainer was thrown away, the girl running the desk informed me housekeeping was gone for the day but she would make a note for the front desk to look into it in the morning. Unfortunately you are not supposed to go more than 2 hours without your invisalign in, so I had to drive all the way home to Petaluma to get my new set. Also to make matters worse the new set didnt fit on my teeth yet because that set that was taken/thrown away was just opened and used 2 days prior. For anyone who has had invisalign you know how expensive it is to replace and also takes about a month to get the new set which by that time your teeth will have moved dramatically pushing back the entire process so this became a very stressful matter. The next morning I went to the front desk to ask about the note/check out and to see if housekeeping had any idea what was done with the invisalign retainer. When I explained the situation, the girl stared at me blankly and said NOTHING. There was no hi, no how are you, literally felt like I was talking to a bot. I asked if there was a note or anything and still she was mute. I finally said are you just going to stare at me or can you call someone or something?? She said "I see a note here but I will have to look into this at some point today and I'll just call you later". So I then tried to explain to her this will be a $500 cost for me to replace this item and the importance of this item she then again just stared blankly. I could not believe this was an actual human being given the blank stare and lack of concern from this girl. I believe her coworker who was standing next to her clocked this because she soon chimed in and with an attitude said "we dont even have a room 108 soo...not sure what to tell you". So I said "508 is my room" and then she laughed and said "oh i was gonna say..". She then called housekeeping to ask to which the woman who cleaned our room flat out lied and said there was someone in the room that day so she didn't clean it. She then said the best we can do is talk to housekeeping more in depth and call you later. I never received a call, never heard back, and was given horrible attitude and the worst service I have received from hotel staff. This birthday trip now cost me an additional $500 to replace my invisalgn and set me back months in my invalsign process to which the staff could care less about. I understand mistakes happen and I am sure housekeeping did not mean to throw my retainer away, however, if I am asking about a very expensive item that has been thrown away by a staff member, I would think a hotel charging a buttload of money would at least have the decency to act like they care even in the slightest. Don't go here unless you want to deal with attitude and bot humans!! Service: 1
