This bar and Old City Arts District can be both really attractive for tourists. The menu of Peruvian cuisine is to the pleasure of all clients here. Visit Vista Peru for a break and taste perfectly cooked ceviche mixto, grilled octopus and seafood paella. Try good flans, fruit ice cream and pudding. Come to this place for delicious Pisco sour, wine or beer. You will hardly forget great chicha morada, coffee or fresh juices that you can try.

So last night my spouse and I came here for dinner. We were served drinks and coffee but then waited for an hour and nine minutes to be served. Yes 1 hour and 9 minutes! In that time our drinks were not refilled and we were not asked much. We received our appetizer which was fried calamari but we were given 8 pieces. There was a gentleman sitting across from us who had a plate with over 18 pieces of calamari. When I asked for our order and reminded that I had been waiting for so long the waiter told the bartender that “Of course they” but stopped speaking. This same waiter had checked on a straight white couple multiple times, walking past us and not refilling our drinks or looking at us.The food was not great and the portions tiny. We left questioning what did we do to these people? Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The food was really delicious here, and I’m glad I went here for my first time trying Peruvian food. This restaurant was recommended to me by my Peruvian friend. My favorite dish was definitely the arroz chaufa de lomo a lo pobre. The steak was extremely tender and juicy and the rice was so flavorful. I also love plantains so that was nice to have. The Pulpo a la parrilla was my second favorite dish I tried, the octopus was super tender and really tasty. The Pollo a la Braza was also good. I did not expect the Pargo a la plancha to have a tomato based soup, but it was decent. The snapper also had way more bones, which I didn’t mind but be aware if you don’t know how to eat around fishbones. I came down to Philly to visit my partner and I was searching around for a restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. When I stumbled upon Vista Perú, I became elated because it had been soo long since I've had a taste of the food in my abuelita's (don't tell her I called her that, aye, I'm going to get hit with a wooden spoon) kitchen in Callao. For food, we ordered Papa a la Huancaina, Choclo Con Queso, Chaufa, and Aji de Gallina. For drinks, I of course got a Pisco Sour and as it was my partners first time eating Peruvian food, he had a Chicha Morada. The music was perfect, the staff amiable, and the food exquisite.
