A MICHELIN star: cuisine of great finesse. Worth the step!
Very good standard. Our best addresses.

When we talk of unique restaurants, we refer to places such as Vista! This restaurant occupies a delightful early 20C palace situated on a promontory in the middle of the Praia da Rocha, hence the authentic picture-postcard views of the immense Atlantic... More info

The only “Bela Vista” at Bela vista hotel is the hotel gates in your rear view mirror as you’re driving away from it. No hotel has ever hidden its true location so masterfully, it sits in front of what can only be described as the Algarve’s answer to Benidorm. Instead of peace and tranquility you get 24/7 karaoke, flashing neons and glares from drunk tourists. The view from the pool is of towering hotel blocks for those very same drunk tourists. You would think that retreating to your room would provide some privacy but you’d be wrong! The windows in our room opened directly onto the strip and people could see in. Speaking of the room, we’ve never paid so much for so little space. This hotel is designed to rip you off before you realise how bad it is or before you can escape. Please don’t make the same mistake and stay in this expensive goldfish bowl. Rooms: 2 Service: 4 Location: 1

Dear Mr. Jonathan Saunders, …Dear Mr. Jonathan Saunders, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. Having reviewed your comments, we were genuinely surprised to learn about your dissatisfaction, as we did not receive any complaints or concerns on your part during the course of your stay. In addition, on the check-in date, upon showing you your room, we received positive feedback from you regarding this. Furthermore, we strive to provide comprehensive information about all room categories on all our online platforms. This includes detailed descriptions of various aspects including the size, building location and view. By providing such detailed information across our platforms, we aim to enhance the booking experience for our guests, allowing choose the room category which suits you best. Moreover, kindly note that our website, as any other commercial website, was designed to showcase the beautiful features of Bela Vista. Nevertheless, it also has a part dedicated to our surroundings, that allow guests to explore the area through google earth. Adding to this, 7 days prior to your arrival, we shared through booking.com information regarding our location, together with other useful information regarding your experience at Bela Vista. Bela Vista, built in 1918, once stood alone at Praia da Rocha. The area has since grown and became a tourist landmark with a lot of movement. We do not try to hide this fact from our esteemed guests, as for the majority of them it is a plus. A very convenient location, on the top of a cliff, walking distance to the beach and two steps to the city main avenue where we can find many options of restaurants, bars, shops, casino, etc. We take all our guests feedback seriously, and we would like to assure you that if we had been made aware of any discontentment regarding your room, we would have taken immediate action to show you available alternatives. Our goal is to make every guest's stay as pleasant and memorable as possible, and we regret that we were not given the opportunity to make things right for you during your time with us. We remain at your entire disposal for any further assistance. Many thanks, Gonçalo Narciso dos Santos General ManagerMore

I stayed at the Bela Vista August 2021. I had a great experience. The view is amazing. The food was out of this world. It is pricey but what a great place to stay. The staff was very professional. The restaurant was definetly a Michelin.
