Just enjoyed a a birthday celebration for my sister with nine people! The service was top notch the food was even better and the atmosphere was so totally Portland! Can't say enough about the place and hope everyone gives it a shot. The community vibe is strong and ever present with tons of foot traffic traveling up and down vista. We came to Vista Spring Cafe on a Friday night, and it was definitely a busy spot. The atmosphere felt lively, and the food overall was good. I ordered the broccoli ravioli, which I really enjoyed—it had great flavor and was well prepared. The boys went with the cheese pizza, and that was a hit with them. Michelle had the meatballs and said they were very good as well. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest downside of the night—honestly some of the worst I’ve experienced. It had a direct impact on our overall experience and made what could have been a great evening feel frustrating. That said, I do want to give credit where it’s due—the manager stepped in, recognized the issue, and worked to make things right, which we appreciated. Overall, despite the service issues, the quality of the food and the way the situation was handled would bring us back again. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

My colleague and I had a hankering for pizza and remembered that Vista Springs offered great pizza. We were right. The pizza came out hot and tasty. The amount of toppings wasn't very much but the flavor made up for it and the crust was thin, crispy, and perfection. I ordered a make your own and was completely satisfied. Service was great. The service staff, including Molly, Maggie , and Madison (from a previous visit) were delightful and excellent. I would highly recommend Vista Springs for a casual, satisfying meal.
