Seafood was good. Generous portion-special was Pismo Halibut. I thought sauce was excellent, breading a bit mushy. Vegetables were good, also a bit overcooked. My husband, a non picky eater had the 16 oz boneless ribeye. It was supposed to be cooked medium rare but was more medium well. He said the seasoning was good but the meat was also pretty grissely throughout and rubbery to eat. He was really disappointed which is not like him. Baked potato was good, vegetables again overcooked. Painkiller drink from the bar was amazing. Lava cake for celebration was yummy. Husband said he won’t go back. I would recommend sticking with the seafood and drinks at this location and forego the steaks. Burgers at other tables looked good but we didn’t try them. We dined at Vista Steak and Seafood last evening. What a place has a clam relaxing but yet buzzing vibe. It's a glass wall looking out at the Pismo shoreline. We ordered the short rib which was excellent cooked, exquisitely tender juicy, and just delightful and seafood salad cooked to perfection. The portion size was spot on. Our dinner experience was fantastic! Service was perfect & food was delicious! Get there before the sun sets! It's a beautiful view of the water! Excellent dining w/ a casual feel!
