I could stop at crispy tripitas tacos. And lengua tacos. And all the other specialty cuts. But this is one of the few taco shops that has a hot pot of beans at the salsa bar. The best part is the seating / ambiance. The entire south side of the building is roll-up garage doors, and a 2 sided table along the entire opening. They have swamp coolers on the ceiling, and a portable cooler blowing at the doorway. It was 96 outside today, and lunch on the patio was great. Price per person: $10–20

This used to be one of my wife’s favorite restaurants, but over our last few visits we’ve noticed a clear decline. Prices have gone up while portions have gotten smaller. Yesterday morning, I ordered the caldo de res for $18 and received a bowl mostly filled with vegetables and only about six small pieces of meat. My wife ordered a sope and had a similar experience—mostly lettuce with very little meat. It’s disappointing to see this trend, and it feels like customers are expected to just accept it. Unfortunately, we’ve decided we won’t be returning. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Amazing tacos, especially for the price, hand made tortillas takes it over the top. I would recommend eating there just keep in mind that its technically outdoors but you do have roof cover. For take out I would recommend the quesadilla with meat and quessabirria as they both transport well. Definitely will be back and yes there's a bit of a wait but every minute is worth it for this food. (Can for sure recommend the cabeza tacos as thats what I got) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
