My husband and I are currently holidaying on the Gold Coast. As avid shisha smokers, who frequent a number of lounges regularly in Sydney, the first thing we did was search google for a suitable place to have a shisha. The reviews for this place looked good so we headed to broadbeach to check it out... I am not sure if this place has recently changed hands but the entire look had changed and was nothing like the photos (no big deal, I actually like the new look). BUT that is all I liked... We were the only customers in there the entire time we were seated which was about an hour and a half on a saturday evening. They advertise premium flavours but that consisted of one flavour (adalya Love 66). There was no blueberry on the menu or kiwi, peach or watermelon at all and apparently they had run out of double apple as well. We ordered and took our seats... The shisha was also on the pricey side but that is to be expected... We are in broadbeach. It took about 40 mins for our Dschinni shisha to arrive, coals already on top ready to smoke (okay so they aren't using KM'S that's a plus...) We smoked for a little bit and I tried, on numerous occassions, to get the one staff members attention for fresh coal, about halfway through the session. He stared blankly out into space and looked right at me on several occassions but did not come over once for coal service. We eventually gave up and left... I would not recommend this place and we will find somewhere else to smoke for the duration of our holiday.
