After enjoying Plaza Rio de Janeiro, go to this confectionary restaurant that is not far away. On the menu, you can select nicely cooked laing. It's time to try tasty éclairs. Delicious coffee goes well with the nice meal.

I can't give 5 stars until I try some additional pastries and drinks but I can easily give a solid 4. This cafe is in an old colonial Spanish building, rather tiny with about 6 tables (2 outside) but really cozy and quaint with nice ambiance. My vegan chocolate cake was good, moist, and tasted great dunked in my iced latte. The iced latte with soy milk (which about half of the cafes in Mexico City don't carry!) was excellent. Just the right strength, flavor, and coffee to milk ratio. Sounds easy yet how many cafes make bad cups of coffee? Enjoyed this cute little cafe in Roma Norte and think you might too.
