This culinary gem offers homemade Cretan cuisine—delicious, rich, and flavorful with a wide variety of options, excellently sized portions, quality produce, from traditional Greek to fusion with Western European tastes. Highly recommend. Came here multiple times. gorgeous setting under widespread pink bougainvillea in the Old City, atmospheric. On the cobblestones, with a view of the Fortezza visible at the end of the long “Makri Steno” street. The owner is extremely friendly, with genuine warmth and kindness. make a stop and enjoy! We have eaten here twice in the past seven days. The food and the service is quite exceptional. Its location is quiet and out of the way, and is never busy; which is tragic because everyone visiting Rethymno should eat here at least once. Superb!
