Once you’re inside, it’s actually quite spacious, and the service is really good. The baguette they serve as a starter would’ve been even better if it were thinner and served warm. It would’ve been perfect for sharing with the dishes. Grilled Moroccan Octopus. Really tender and goes so well with the lemon vinaigrette. Moussaka. This one is seriously five stars. The ground meat, tomato sauce, cheese, and the eggplant layered underneath pretending to be meat Everything works so well together. SO good. Fisherman’s Soup. The kind of flavour that makes you crave a glass of wine. Baklava. A dessert with a Middle Eastern vibe. Unfortunately, it was a little soggy. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This place was TOP NOTCH. Even though we did not eat inside the restaurant, service/food were amazing and accommodating. Since we were staying at the Sheraton across the street and one of our friends was not as mobile, we ended up taking the food back to our room. But we were taken care of graciously at the bar as we waited for our food order. This is a place i would come back to and bring friends and family. And i dont say that about many place, but this place is a total yes for me. If it’s a nice date, a friendly gathering or a business related meeting. I would recommend this place 10 out of 10. Just keep in mind that the dishes are somewhat small but shareable. Like you order a bunch of stuff to taste and share with the table/group from what i noticed. The photo does not do it justice, just go check out this place for yourself. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

Volos Greek Cuisine is one of my favorite downtown spots in Toronto for having a dinner that will surely impress your date, business partner or family. The atmosphere is a mix of traditional Greek styling with a modern twist, the Volos is easily one of my favorite spots in downtown Toronto. If you need to impress a date or client, this is the place. The decor is a great mix of modern and traditional, and the service is excellent. The food is outstanding—the steak was cooked to perfection, and the grilled octopus was fantastic. However, the service logistics could be better. Many dishes are meant for sharing, yet we were given regular spoons instead of proper serving utensils. Also, the saganaki needs a much larger portion of bread to go with it! Price per person: CA$80–90 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Saganaki, Grilled Octopus
