Rome may be the eternal city, but I believe Taverna Volpetti to have found eternal deliciousness. I usually skip a charcuterie board in a restaurant. Here it made sense. They gave us a wonderful breakdown of where the different items were from and how each was made, which clarified the differences. Even doing it in English for my partner who doesn't speak Italian. The pork rib was divine, I could've eaten them my entire trip without getting tired. The tiramisu however has ruined me. For now I'll forever be comparing tiramisu with Taverna Volpetti. It might kill me to eat that tiramisu for every meal, but I would die happy. This is my new spot, that I'll have to hit up everytime I go through Rome.
