On the menu, every dish lists its allergens — except one. That creates a false sense of safety, which is genuinely dangerous: either you display no allergens at all, or you display them for everything. If I hadn’t double-checked with the waiter, I would have ended up in hospital. I tried to explain the problem calmly when paying, so that they could fix it. The waiter couldn’t have cared less, and even seemed annoyed. I’ve never seen anything like it — putting your customers at risk and refusing to listen to feedback is unbelievable for a restaurant

We ate lunch at Volta on our second day in Naples, literally stumbling upon the place. The food (tuna tataki and salmon freddo appetizers) was fantastic, service was spot on. The seating was a delightful shady retreat from the heat and traffic. So we went back again two days later. We had their veal Miss Milano for two, but a family of four could feast on it. Again great service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20 Kid-friendliness: Indubitably:)
