Nestled on Ichikawaminami street, WBAR offers a cozy, down-to-earth atmosphere that appeals to both locals and visitors alike. This restaurant is particularly known for its great cocktails and provides a selection of wines, whiskies, and assorted traditional Japanese spirits. While it lacks some accessibility features, such as wheelchair-accessible parking and entrance, it does promise a lively scene featuring late-night food ideal for evening and night-time diners.
WBAR operates every day except Sunday from 6 PM until 2 AM, making it an optimal venue for dinner or a late drink. Patrons seeking some seclusion can choose between the bar on the first floor and table seating available on the second floor. Although the interior recently got new sofas, the washroom remains traditionally Japanese-style, which should be considered, especially after enjoying drinks. The restaurant also offers outdoor snacks during certain local events.
Reservations are recommended for those planning their visit, perhaps using Rakuten Pay options for convenience. Despite the lack of recent updates directly from the owner, visitors seem appreciative of the reasonably priced offerings and engaging atmosphere, with the establishment showing signs of lasting appeal. Those curious about what the extra 'W' in WBAR stands for will need to investigate further while tasting the variety of alcoholic beverages available.
