Me (a server of 3yrs at a different restaurant) and my mother (a dm “district manager” for WH of 12 years ) walked in. a lady asks “for here or to go” and !!the first question!! my mom asked was “is the chilli good” (like fresh or look good) to which someone replied yes, so we said yes we’ll stay/dine in. I sit down, my mom goes to the bathroom and our server asks about drinks and I asked for a chocolate milk but can she add a little milk because that choc milk is really think..to which she replies “well what type of milk” like she was confused so now I’m confused and I say “whole milk..2%..cow milk?” She goes to the fridge, YELLS across the restaurant to another server at another fridge and asks if she has milk but before the other girl can answer my server yells “what’s today’s date” the other girl says “the 3rd” and my server comes back to the table and tells me “we have no choc milk, it’s expired” so I get a dr.p and the other server comes down while my server is making my dr. P and she looks at the date on the milk and all I hear is “oh..I still would have gave it to her.” (I never found out the date on that milk) my mother comes out and orders her food (hash browns scattered smothered covered and topped) the server goes to someone at the grill and says (ig she didn’t write it down) “an order of hash browns..uh..smothered.scattered.and covered?” Before we get our food, our server drops the check on the table..we haven’t seen a plate hit our table yet? Then our server goes to the well (where the chilli [we previously asked about] is supposed to be) and our server starts yelling at this guy whose supposed to be a cook (his name is Willie, cook and supervisor..allegedly) she’s yelling his name (he’s IGNORING her) and she says the chili looks watery- she’s not serving the customer (us) that. He proceeds to yell back “I made that chilli, nothings wrong with it” now they’re yelling back n forth arguing because as the supervisor he claims to be he’s not listening to her or anyone Else?? They’re yelling back n forth for about 5 more min when my mom is finally fed up and goes to sit at the high bar in front all the employees and has a nice friendly chat about the way things are being ran in the establishment. Specifically to “the cook” who claimed he was busy doing the money (at 6pm? Your late. Going to the bank? It’s closed.) he’s trying to get everything done right before Their DM gets there (all this should have been done BEFORE 6pm btw..) my mom is NICELY addressing him about us being in the establishment as paying customers who need something fixed that shouldn’t have had to be fixed in the first place (because that was the whole point of asking when we walked in. To prevent any chili issues- am I wrong?) but instead he’s to busy, eager and intimidated by their DM to “care?” About the current paying customers..? and midway through my mother talking, he slyly says “well I’m 55 years old”? Sir we understand you are older than us and we’re not disrespectful towards you so age has nothing to do with the conversation, she was just addressing an issue (respectfully, mind you, through the whole conversation) My mom finishes the chat with everyone (she does get her chili, from where, I’m not sure, but it was good though) we finish eating, we pay, we tip, and as we’re leaving my mother tells our server “and please let Willie know, I am a District manager” and we left. She may not be specifically their DM but she knows Waffle House(s) in and out, and has been a server all her life and currently a manager for another 5 years. So she knows the right way and the wrong way to do things, to bring up issues, and about how you are supposed to present your self to paying customers and the “supervisor”? “Cook”? (Whatever he calls himself) “The man in the RED hat- Willie” is absolutely not going about his job the best he can. Price per person: $10–20

Waitress was having a attitude problem. At least 80 lbs over weight charged for a full breakfast and all I had was coffee small bowl of grits one half done egg. Was told that I could get military discount like most waffle house honor. She never gave it to me. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

This place was amazing , the food was soooooo good and it was clean there. And the bacon was crispy just how I like it, and this is the only waffle house I've seen that has lots of parking. Food: 5
