Tourist here, and this seems to be a locals favorite too. I got the 2 Meat Plate 2 sides. Chicharron Mac and special beans. Service was kind and understanding. As far as ambiance, I liked the police/service recognition/honor stand. Lots of patches and coins left by our service members across the states.

GOOD: GREAT! Ordered (to-go) for a large group of people who tried a bunch of different items and all of them said it was some of the best BBQ they have ever had. The turkey was hands down the BEST, juiciest, tender & tasty bird I've ever had. (And we all know Turkey can get very dry, very quick.) SERVICE: Great! When we walked in the line was pretty long, but moved quickly. We ordered food to-go for 7 people-- meals & some side orders-- they had the food ready in less than 5 minutes and got all of the order right.

Ask anyone in Eagle Pass where to eat and you'll be told to head on over to the Wagon Wheel for BBQ. It is delicious. The chicken fried steak came highly recommended by locals and is massive, but I was craving brisket, so I ordered the brisket sandwich, which comes with chips, pickles, onions, and BBQ sauce (on he tables) for free. I added two sides: coleslaw and borracho beans. Both were exceptional. This place is family owned and operated. Great good and a sense of humor. Check it out when nearby!
