It's pretty shocking that an order of sourdough toast and marmite can be messed up but it wasn't close to what I asked for. I got the dairy free option my partner asked for, the bread was brown and barely toasted and I didn't get any marmite. By the time the marmite was provided the barely toasted bread was cold. Wasn't worth the wait. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Lovely staff, amazing service and really quick food. The halloumi and avocado sourdough is incredible. The only let down is some areas of the seating area weren’t the cleanest and the toilets were rather dirty. But overall amazing! The name Waitrose is known for quality and premium brand. However, the café seems to fall short on this. The staff are friendly and helpful but seem to be always understaffed making the customer experience one of delay and frustration. The food is okay, it's nothing special as it's just a normal menu of toasties, sandwiches, tea and coffee. Nothing really outstanding. The delay in getting any food prepared is far too long to wait for something that's just okay. If it was premium then it's with the 'waite'. I didn't want to wait for however long I was being told as I was hungry so just went for the basic sandwich. But I noted others order and then have to chase and finally get their food. I also noted people queue up and then leave as it was taking to long. This is not the first time but clearly, management of this is either not being done or they don't care, which is not what is expected of the partners. The location is a prime one for people to shop, eat, or pop in to at least get parking and grab a bite l, but it's not being made the best use of, in my opinion. It's also a good meeting point and they could make the far more accessible to business people to meet, grab coffee, charge devices (currently, there's hardly any charging areas), and the layout is not great. So overall, it's okay but could be si much better. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
