Our “overpriced” prices are all calculated - we are not a Buschenschank (they pay a flat rate of taxes) In our drinks menu it is noted that the same price applies to drinks made with tap water instead of mineral/soda. We consciously avoid the familiar bread basket - for hygienic reasons. It is well known in catering circles that these are often not washed and are a source of bacteria. If we had known that you would have a hard time eating a dessert plate, we would of course have served you a larger plate. Due to the known staff shortage, the old man also has to work - he may have been overwhelmed and he probably got his dirty shirt dirty while working.
