Nice restaurant serving delicious beef, chicken with also some salad and potato sides (which are not easy to find in Japan) - all very tasty. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and even knew some Lithuanian from other tourists who were visiting Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went to Waraiya on 2nd May, for the first time in Japan, we had an experience that genuinely made us feel very unwelcome. The way we were received felt cold and uncomfortable, and it honestly gave us the impression that we were not welcomed there at all as foreigners, especially because we couldn’t speak Japanese. Honestly, we felt really upset and disappointed by this visit. We were truly excited to try this place because of the highly rated Google reviews, but sadly we didn’t even get the chance to taste the food at all. Sad :( Service: 1
