This is the best place near Arena District. Take your family with you to have nicely cooked philly cheese steaks, ribeye and steak sandwiches. Tasty biscuits are among the dishes to be tried at Wario's Beef and Pork. After a long working day, you can taste delicious gin.

This place is a Columbus favorite and staple, despite being hidden away from all the action. They don't serve anything too crazy or fancy, and the subs are not super customizable; they just make a few things very well and have daily specials from time to time. I'm a meat-eater, and I thought the vegetarian sub was excellent. It had well-seasoned falafel; their bread isn't an afterthought, it's amazing and makes the subs better; the wario sauce is worth putting on anything. Their sandwiches are massive -- feel like a little more than a foot long and fully-loaded with meats/ingredients. My friend loved the roasted pork just as much as I loved mine. It's easy to order ahead online and have your food ready in 20ish minutes. Wario's is a very worthy low-key Columbus staple! I’ll start by saying I grew up in Philly - where “F-You” is a sign of affection. Those of us who hail from Philly take our cheesesteaks seriously. Whether you’re a cheese whiz person or not, whether you’re a Pats or Genos person (most aren’t fans of either), we Philadelphians are slow to proclaim ANY cheesesteak made outside of southeast Pennsylvania as worthy of praise and we view it as naturally inferior..and then there was Warios. The Warios cheesesteak is a pretty traditional Philly cheesesteakwhich is a HUGE compliment by putting its cheesesteak in that category. The sesame seed roll was fresh. The steak itself was juicy and full of flavor. The traditional wario way is cheese whiz with provolone. I’m not a huge whiz guy but I can appreciate what they have going on here. The mushrooms and peppers were grilled to perfection and couldn’t be contained by the bun. I didn’t have the potatoes on this go around but they are always an awesome compliment to a Philly or chicken Philly. I was skeptical but am a huge fan of this place and can’t wait to go back. Wow! Would have given Wario's Beef and Pork 6 stars if it was an option. Tried The Cold Cut, The Steak Wario's Way and the House spuds. Love the house whiz. The guys working there were super friendly! This will definitely my place to grab a bite to eat before Blue Jackets and concerts in the arena district!
