My husband & I recently visited Milan for summer vacation and we had the pleasure of dining at Warsa Restaurant in Milan, Italy, and I must say it was an extraordinary culinary experience. The cozy ambiance, warm hospitality, and, above all, the mouthwatering Eritrean cuisine made it a truly memorable evening for my husband and me. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with genuine smiles and impeccable service. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were commendable, as they guided us through the authentic Eritrean dishes and suggested perfect combinations for our meal. The menu at Warsa Restaurant showcased a wide range of traditional Eritrean delicacies, each bursting with unique flavors and vibrant colors. We started our culinary journey with the Zigni, a tender and aromatic beef stew, accompanied by injera, a spongy and tangy flatbread. The combination of flavors was simply divine, and it transported us to the rich culinary heritage of Eritrea. Next, we indulged in the derho, a mouthwatering We also tried the Timtimo, a flavorful lentil stew that left us craving for more. One of the highlights of our meal was the traditional Eritrean tea!
