The Sembalun Clasik Café was a very pleasant surprise, which I encountered on an evening before hiking one of the surrounding mountains. The cafe offers hot drinks as well as a couple of typical warung-style dishes.Together with my girlfriend we ordered multiple dishes and all of them were tasty. The ayam suir - a shredded chicken dish with a local mixture of spices growing in the surrounding fields - was outstanding for me. The owner is outstandingly friendly, after we told him, that we walked 45 minutes from our accommodation to his cafe he offered to give us a ride back with his scooter, which we were very happy to take after a long day, Many Thanks again!
