Paul L. We are so sad that your restaurant didn't make it through the pandemic. If you are still monitoring reviews here, can you please let us know if you have opened a new restaurant or are working at another sushi restaurant? We would love to dine with you again some day. Please let us and the so many other enthusiasts know where you have landed.

I'm deeply saddened at the closing of this restaurant! I've been dining with them since they were called House of Sushi and Noodle on Western and I believe it was Belmont. They were my first Sushi experience and I was hooked!!! Please consider reopening!!! Chicago is back up and running!!

I'm always on the search for good deals on all you can eat sushi places that actually offer good sushi so when I saw the price per person at Wasabi Cafe I knew that I wanted to try it. Even a better deal when you pay cash as you get $2 off per person. You do have to remind them to take the $2 off your bill as sometimes they forget. Maybe it's just me but I have never been to a restaurant with a call button on the table, definitely should have been pointed out to us as soon as we sat down. We wound up waiting a long time for someone to pick up our order sheet since we did not see it initially. I read some reviews about the wait times in between orders and I definitely had the same problem. We had to ring our call button four times until someone came, we let them know that we put in a second order a pretty long time ago and they seemed very confused. When they went to check on our food I saw they had to speak to someone and then they got our rolls, just means that our food was probably ready a long time ago but that they finally remembered that they should bring it to us. It was definitely a bit frustrating. Overall the sushi was good. For AYCE sushi, I would come back here again. A good variety of appetizers, drinks, nigiri and rolls.
