Once the promenade around the The Mall of Asia Bay Area Amusement Park is over, visit Watami. This restaurant serves Japanese cuisine. It's easy to find Watami due to its great location. Try nicely cooked japanese rice, spicy salmon rolls and japanese ramen. Try tasty tiramisu, parfait and ice cream. Great japanese tea, fruit tea or ice tea are among the best drinks to degust.

The gracious staff meets you at this place all year round. Visitors mention that the service is enjoyable here. Affordable prices are what you are to pay for your meal. At this spot, people can enjoy the comfortable ambiance and lovely decor.

Very quiet branch hidden at the far end of MOA facing the bay. Their open kitchen lets you see how they prepare your favorite sushi while you wait (and drool). Their staff are accommodating and responsive.

Must-trys are Tuna Taco Maki, Salmon Taco Maki, and Shrimp Aburi. There’s more rice than pork or chicken in their katsu though.

Watami is now one of my favorite Japanese restaurants (in Pasay)! The salmon taco maki aburi was so good! ❤️ Still thinking about the torched taste of the salmon plus the crispiness of the nori. I want to copy the wasabi mayo for the fried mozzarella balls. And I am on a pork katsu curry binge and this is what Japanese curry tastes like. Washed everything down with sakeria, which is sangria plus sake, looking at a view that can’t be beat.

The hotpot on their menu with the meat is not accurate. They only served like 3 strips of meat. For its price, it's definitely not worth it. The soup is salty, we can't sip it on its own. They should have tried it first before serving. For the meat skewers, they didnt even bother to reheat it or something, it's like it's been sitting on their kitchen on a plate ready to serve so I dont recommend. I'm disappointed because it's Valentine's when we ate but maybe the food we ordered is not really their specialty. Im not sure if we'll go back here again. But who knows? Maybe??? to try other items on their menu.
