After enjoying McCurdy Smokehouse Museum, go to this restaurant that is not far away. You will enjoy its food, especially tasty seafood salads, shrimp scampi and fried salmon. If hungry, come here for good blueberry pie, blueberry dessert and rhubarb pie. Guests visit Water Street Tavern & Inn to drink delicious draft beer, marsala or bourbon. Great tea is the right choice.
There is a lovely view from this place. The knowledgeable staff demonstrates a high level of hospitality at this spot. Spectacular service is something that visitors note in their reviews. Prices are found fair here. You will definitely like the pleasant ambiance and homey decor. Facebook gives this restaurant the deserved rating of 4.3 stars.

The food was high end and the service was impeccable. Small town restaurant but big city dining. Highly recommend this place along with its spectacular deserts.

One of the highlight when we were in Lubec for dinner. We didn't have a reservation but Larry at the bar gladly accommodated us... the owners were there, seemed very reserve and the wife didn't seem friendly at all. A little uncomfortable when we first walked in. We're visitors so that kinda felt awkward not being a local. However, the food was fantastic! The crab dip, the scallop dinner and the mushroom ravioli. The garlic bread was to die for and you only get it with an order of their pasta dishes. I had the espresso martini at the end of my meal and that was amazing! It is pricey but worth it. 5 stars for food and the bartender.. took one star from the experience when we first walked in.

Right in the heart of Lubec and also right on the water, the Water Street Tavern & Inn is a special place. I have very much enjoyed my stay the past two summers as well as having dinner in the dining room both years. The food is the type of gourmet fare that you just don't find in a sleepy little town such as Lubec. I hope to return next season as well.
