Huge fans of TWK love the calamari here and obsessed with the decor. Drinks with friends here always ends up memorable.

The good: excellent service, nice atmosphere, good drinks, fancy sushi (get the French Cake). The meh: the food here seems to have gone downhill to the point that we won't be returning as regularly as we used to, which is super disappointing since Winchester doesn't have enough good places to eat. Salads are often mediocre. Twice in a row a medium rare cheeseburger was prepared medium to medium well. The chicken used to be perfectly executed but is now just okay.

Hi Joshua,

Thank you so much for your feedback. Any and all feedback, good or bad, is incredibly important to us. I sincerely apologize for the inconsistency in our food during your last few visits. Our chef has addressed this issue with our kitchen staff immediately following your reveiw posting. We hope that you reconsider the frequency in which you dine with us. Additionally, that we meet the expections that both you, our guest, and I, as General Manager, have for the overall dining expererience at TWK. We hope to see you again soon, and thanks again for your honest critique.

When you enter TWK you learn that means The Waterfield Kitchen, but that's not what you were thinking.  Dining by myself (traveling on business) I figured the bar would be good.  The main bar downstairs was pretty hopping.  Someone suggested the upstairs bar to be quieter which sounded good, since I was mostly looking for dinner.  It was quiet for a little bit but after about 8:30 the place got going.  Lots of fun people having a lot of fun and Matt was having a great time dishing up their favorites. I ordered the Yelp check-in deal - a spicy salmon roll which was a great app, it really is best for two.  Their menu is pretty diverse and a little more pricey than a chain, which is the norm for Winchester.  I had the Short Rib and a double Stout, which was just perfect. A very nice option in the Woburn/Winchester area.
