Our experience was typical for a road side bar/restaurant but our bartender/server was above and beyond awesome! Dana was taking care of a full bar, tables, quick draw and seating people. She was unbelievable in her ability to stay upbeat and basically serve the whole place on her own! We were so impressed by her skills! Thank you Dana! Tried going to The Waterfront Tavern for the first time on Wednesday September 25th at 7:30pm. Walked in and saw the sign that said, "see hostess on patio for seating." Walked out to the patio, no hostess, no customers. Stood and waited for roughly ten minutes while two people behind the bar ignored us and an older waitress looked directly at us, ignored us, and walked by us three times. There was a private party in one room and only four people seated at the bar. Heard pretty good things about the place in the past, but will most likely never return. Disappointed.
