This place is busy for a reason, with a mix of islanders and tourists filling the space all day long—and that alone tells a story. Fresh ingredients, very accommodating staff, great big sandwiches, and a menu that truly has something for everyone. Everything we ordered was delicious, portions were generous, and the atmosphere was welcoming and upbeat. Whether you’re grabbing a quick breakfast, lunch, or coffee, grab and it’s easy to see why so many people keep coming back. Definitely a spot worth visiting when you’re on Martha’s Vineyard. Lesley, the Manager was simply amazing! I explained that I was allergic to garlic & onion & she went out of her way to accommodate me! My sandwich was one of the best turkey sandwiches that I have had. The cafe is great & run very efficiently. I would highly the cafe to all!! Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Waterside is a vineyard classic, serving my favourite sandwich’s and cookies since I can remember. Although all the food was fresh, flavourful, and good sized portions. The service was equally impressive! The staff are VERYYY friendly, attentive even when busy and love to chat with them. Whether you're visiting the island for the first time or are a longtime islander, Waterside Restaurant is a must destination for great food, excellent service, and unforgettable views.
